Lauri Rechardt is running Rechardt & Co – a law firm specialized in music copyright and media law – which he established in 2006. Before this, Lauri Rechardt worked for over 6 years at IFPI - the association representing the recording industry worldwide, first as a Senior Legal Advisor, and later as Deputy General Counsel, Director of Licensing & Litigation. Prior to joining IFPI he worked for the Finnish Performing Artists’ and Phonogram Producers’ Collecting Society Gramex where he held the position of the Head of Legal and Licensing Affairs.
